Bagley Lane Resurfacing Update 🚧

Thank you to the many residents for reaching out regarding this issue. We both understand the frustration about this; it is something that Cllr Peter Carlill, and I have been working on for some time resulting in action being taken. (picture attached from earlier in the year)

The works that were completed recently are preparation works for surface dressing that will take place along Bagley Lane in the coming months.

On inspection the highways team decided that the 2 x platforms were in a poor condition and require replacing. This work is currently being planned.

There will also be some disability access crossing that are also at the planning stage.

The surface dressing itself is a preventative treatment, which will improve significantly and extend the life of the road before it needs a full resurface.

We have chased up a previous request about the area outside the Springfield Mill Entrance and will let you know when we have had an update.
