Concerns About Buses in Calverley

Just to update on the issues with the number 60/60a bus, following further discussions I have had with Transdev.

They report so far the expected new buses are starting to come through on the route, but only 3 out of the expected 12 replacement buses had all the work done and was out on the street.

There have been improvements in cancellation rates following these three buses, but we should see further improvements as the remaining buses are released over the next few weeks.

They did have an issue at Keighley depot last week which led to further cancellations, but should be now solved.

I did ask that even if there are cancelations required, it is unacceptable for residents to see the same service cancelled multiple days in a row – this puts an unfair amount of the issues on one small set of the population.

I will keep monitoring to make sure it continues to get better as these new buses go in, and do please let us know if you see the service issues continuing.
