80th Anniversary of VE Day
Fantastic to see so many people across the community celebrating the VE Day 80th anniversary!!!! Myself and Cllr Peter Carlill, attended a service at Calverley Cenotaph before joining MHA Communities Farsley for their VE Day Lunch Club, super well organised and fun being had by all.
I finished up Farsley Westroyd Primary School and Nursery who have pulled out all the stops decorating the school, learning about life in Britain during the war and a singalong with some war time classics. I’m also hanging around for their bake sale at 3.15!
