De-leafing Programme Update
Details below about the Autumn process to clear leaves from pavements in the area. Many thanks to the Cleaner Neighbourhoods Team, who work on this every year.

I am writing to inform you that this year’s de-leafing rota will commence on Monday, 27th October. During this period, our teams will be prioritising de-leafing activities to ensure pathways and public spaces remain safe and accessible.
This year we have 2 leafing teams comprised of 3 mechanical sweepers each supported by staff from our contractors Krinkels. Each ward will have a team a minimum of between 1 to 2 times a week, where we will prioritise high foot fall areas such as schools, hospitals, doctors surgeries, high streets, sheltered housing complexes and areas of high leaf fall. All referrals for leaf sweeping will be allocated to the teams when they are in the ward of the referral.
Please note that normal CNT services may be affected while we focus resources on this essential seasonal work.
If you have any specific concerns or priority areas, we kindly ask that you contact your CNT Team Leader directly so these can be considered within the rota.
