Bin update

We appreciate this is a frustrating topic for many, and that there are still currently some outstanding recovery collections, which we have chased. This is an important issue for us.

Cllr Peter Carlill, and I met with the Head of the Refuse Service and other senior officers today to discuss collection issues across the ward. This was arranged at our insistence.

Most of the ward does get collected on time every time, however that is no conciliation to those that are repeatedly getting missed. We wanted to challenge this, and there was an acknowledgment that there needs to be improvements in our area.

The service have put together an action plan based on the information we have given them, and we hope to see improvements moving forward. Thank you to residents that have given us continual feedback, it has been a big help.
